FAQs

Q: What if I fail an exam?

We now offer 3 attempts to pass our exams! Tests are randomized each attempt per AANA guidelines.

Q: What are the Core Modules?  When must they be completed? Do you offer the Core Modules?

A: The NBCRNA created the CPC  Program for CRNA recertification that now includes four core modules. For more details on the new CPC Program for Recertification created by the NBCRNA see https://www.nbcrna.com/continued-certification

There are four mandatory core modules that must be completed during your four-year cycle. We offer all 4 modules!

Importantly, you must complete each module (pass the test) during your four-year cycle to satisfy the NBCRNA requirement.  Contact the NBCRNA if you have questions regarding your re-certification window or when you should complete the modules.

The expiration date of each of our modules is as follows:

Airway 7/14/26

(3 Class A CE Credits)

Anesthesia Technology 5/14/24

(1.5  Class A CE Credits)

Pharmacology 9/30/24

(6 Class A CE Credits)

Physiology & Pathophysiology 9/30/24

(6 Class A CE Credits)

The expiration date is required and set by the AANA for all prior-approved CE materials to allow for updating and review. As each expiration date arrives, we will already be in the process of ensuring each module will be renewed and a have new expiration date. As such, please be assured we will continue to offer the modules beyond the current expiration dates.

Q: Are the modules a test prep for the CPCA?  Will your modules guarantee that I pass the CPCA?

No. The core modules are NOT intended as a CPCA test prep. The core modules are a separate and distinct part of the NBCRNAs new CPC program but have no direct correlation to the assessment.

 Per the NBCRNA,

"Although they may be helpful, Core Modules were not designed as a CPC Assessment (CPCA) preparation tool." (source https://www.nbcrna.com/continued-certification/core-modules)
